Come in for your free consultation and let’s discuss areas you want to have treated, assess your skin tone and hair to create a safe treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. We will then go over pricing and payment options. As we progress you will notice you needn’t shave as frequently and the hair is less dense.
It’s important to have your skin in its natural state. No tanning or tanner for at least a week prior. We will need you to shave the day before your treatment and have your skin clean, free of any lotion, makeup, cologne/perfume.
Following each session you do need to avoid the sun for at least 7-10 days. You will be more prone to sunburn, and risk the chance of pigment problems and heat rash, so please cover-up and wear sunblock.
Aren’t IPL and Laser the same thing?
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is broad spectrum, producing all wavelengths of light, whereas Laser produces focused wavelength for specific targeting.
How does this affect hair reduction?
The energy in light needs to destroy the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue, by focusing on wavelengths known to be most specific for the hair it yields better results and lower risk of damaging the surrounding tissue.
Why do I shave before treatment and not wax?
Hair follicles (roots) grow in cycles and hair above the skin increases discomfort and chances of being burned. Waxing temporarily injures the follicle and makes the laser less effective.
How long after waxing should I wait before laser?
